Microsoft Corporation is the infrastructure sponsor for the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Through a number of generous gifts, Microsoft has contributed software and consulting to support the Museum technology infrastructure, including personal productivity software such as enterprise-wide operating system upgrades, desktop software, and e-mail communication. Additionally, Microsoft supports the Museum's content management infrastructure with software for document, media, and data management; project management; collaboration; Web development; and network management.
Hewlett Packard
Hewlett Packard has supported Gates Planetarium by providing XW9300 workstations for content development and visualization. The computers are configured to deliver multiple channels of real-time, photorealistic image generation.
LeftHand Networks
LeftHand Networks has provided hardware and support toward the implementation of their IP SAN, a combination of Distributed Storage Matrix (DSM) software and Network Storage Module (NSM) hardware providing storage capacity for 3.5 terabytes of data, supporting the Space Odyssey exhibition, as well as general Museum storage requirements.
