The Catering Services Department is the Museum's exclusive in-house caterer, providing award-winning menus and a variety of customized services.
Dinner & Evening Events
Strolling Receptions
For large numbers of people or for groups who desire a more casual atmosphere, we offer strolling receptions. More than 30 hot and cold hors d'oeuvre plates are available, served either "butler passed" or buffet style.
Buffets and Plated (Seated) Entrees
With both buffets (30 person minimum) and seated dinners (50 person minimum), you have the option of adding tasty sides like our exclusive Southwest Jicama Citrus Salad and Balsamic Blended Tomato and Gouda Salad. For entrees, the Wild Mushroom Penne and Sweet Asian Lemongrass-Glazed Swordfish are local favorites.
Desserts
Creamy cheesecake, chocolate tortes, fresh fruit, cookies and brownies. A number of decadent sweets are available for your events. We also offer four varieties of "Sweet Endings," which are part of our dessert and coffee buffets.

Breakfast & Lunch
Breakfast
Four options are available for breakfast: a continental breakfast, quiche Lorraine, a full sit-down breakfast, and a breakfast buffet. Sit-down breakfasts require a minimum of 50 people; breakfast buffets a minimum of 30. You can also choose from coffee, tea, milk, juice, bagels, muffins, and fruit.
Lunch
Hot and cold lunches are available as well. Lunch items require a 10-person minimum except for sandwiches and sack lunches. Prices range from $10-$18.

Bar Selections
The Museum has a license to provide alcohol and bartenders. Arrangements can be made for a hosted bar or a cash bar. Domestic and premium beers, wine, well drinks, and cordials and cognacs are available.

When you host an event at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, you'll also be contributing to the Museum's mission to attract and serve diverse audiences by promoting the study, understanding, and enjoyment of the universe, nature, science, and human cultures. As a non-profit organization, the Museum relies on evening admissions and events to help sustain our many educational and research programs.
