Internships at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science allow high school and college students to gain hands-on experience in scientific research, collections and archives, behind-the-scenes in our various administrative departments, and out in the community. These programs are valuable stepping stones toward careers in the natural sciences.
As a Teen Science Scholar, you will collaborate with professional scientists in the field and in the lab at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.
A National Science Foundation-funded Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) position is available for a qualified undergraduate biology student to work with Dr. John Demboski in the mammal collection and modern genetics laboratory.
Intern(s) will be responsible for working with the Education Collections Manager and the Education Collections Assistant Manager to maintain the daily responsibilities of the department.
This internship is offered by the Department of Anthropology to currently enrolled, undergraduate or graduate-level students of Native American descent.
